Katie Ingram’s (21.50) 11th place overall and first lady meant a clean sweep in the race series. Gareth Booth (20.57) had to settle for fourth on the night but took the series without problem. Run of the night was from Gary Priestley (20.51) who finished a fine third, first junior and was the only one of the trio to run faster than last month. Guy Heyes (22.30) paced the race well to finish strongly in 16th place and with Tony Rowlands (23.12) in 21st we just managed to win the team prize by one point from Blackburn. Not to be out done by the men the ladies also collected the team award with Lisa Heyes (25.30) – improving with every race – finishing 6th lady, and with Christine Sweatman (32.01) & first 0/50, Horwich made it a double – double on the night. Paul Boardman (24.07) took second 0/45 in 31st place and Gordon Stone (29.33) in 95th.
