Radcliffe 10 Trail Race

Sunday 6th February 2011.

This course is a testing trail race with plenty of small hills and very muddy conditions underfoot but still attracted a field of 230 runners. There where only six Horwich runners at this popular trail race but all did well and we had 4 prize winners. Rob Jackson had a great run 1st/45 in a fine fourth place 4 minutes behind the winner J Morrisey of Wigan Phoenix. Paul Boardman was 15th and 2nd o/45 despite running with an injury. Our only lady runner (how often are we saying that at the moment) was Suzanne Budgett, 33rd over all and second lady only 13seconds behind the winner A Steadman. Tony Hesketh was first O/60 despite being 3 minutes slower than last year. Mark Swindell and Alan Blinkhorn were the other Horwich runners

Results.
