Three Peaks Fell Race 2011

Three Peaks Fell Race 30th April 2011

Four harriers ran this year’s race in sunny and very windy conditions. With 999 entries and international selection up for grabs for the front runners, the quality of the field was high.

Alastair Murray was first harrier home in 25th position in 3 hours and 23 minutes, taking 20 minutes off his previous time. Brendan Bolland was next home in 3 hours and 45 minutes, followed by Gary Chadderton in 4 hours and 36 minutes. Both runners were pleased with their times and enjoyed the race.

Last but certainly not least was Tony Varley, finishing his 20th three peaks race in 5 hours and 1 minute.
