Sweatshop Chorley Park 5k Series

Friday 29th April

Four Harriers turned out for the fourth and final race of the 17th Friday Night Chorley Park 5k series, with bright sunny conditions and a good turnout of 53 runners, the series continues to be a nice fast and pleasant 5k run through Astley Park in Chorley.

James Kevan finished first in 16:32, winning with  a comfortable lead, and his best time of the series, with Gareth Booth following in 2nd place in 17:10, and Glyn Kay (18:23) coming in 5th place, with Carl Balshaw (21:40) finishing in 24th.

Other runners who have done early races in the seriers are: David Jackson (18:18), Andy Townsend (18:55), Paul Boardman (20:27), Emma Perrin (22:14), Zachery Howe (18:05), and Paul Murrey (24:47).
