Horwich Juniors Triumph again

The 4th Round of the Mid Lancs XC took place at Townley Park Burnley with several Juniors having their best races to date.

In the U11 Girls Ella Pendlebury had her best results yet with a 2nd. Freya Whittle finishing in 17th and Lydia Johnson in 27th place. New runner Lily Boon with her first XC experience a respectable 52nd place.

The U11 Boys also had a 2nd place in Matthew Flatters his best result yet in this series. Isaac Simmonite a strong showing in 17th place.

It was the U13 Boys who took the glory and finished 1st team. First in was Lewis Wilkes his best finish in this series. Next in was Tom Massey in 9th and Kieran Kinearly in 15th. This just gave them 1 point ahead of Blackpool and a good chance to go for Gold in the series.

Robert Gibson also had his best result to date in the series finishing in 20th position.
