Standish Hall Trail Race 10k 21st Feb 2015

There where 239 brave finishers for this race held in the muddiest conditions in the history of the race.

The race was won by Ian Grime of Newham & Essex in 37.38 leading all the way. Our first finisher was new signing Steve Foley in 11th place in 42.11 and also winning the prize for 1st O/45 after running a strong race. The next Horwich finisher was race-oholic Paul Boardman in 29th in 44.43 with Tony Hesketh 57th winning the O/65 prize in 48.12. The final Horwich finisher was Gill Smith running well to win the LV/65 award in 69.26.

Even though the conditions were very bad everyone seemed to rise to the challenge and enjoy themselves.
