Rivington Pike History and Fell Race

A 200 page book covering the history of the Pike Tower and describing places of historic interest which are found on the course taken by the Pike Race.  Includes a review of the development of "pedestrianism" from the late 1800's which leads on to the history of the Rivington Pike Fell Race itself.  The fell race is considered to be the second oldest in he country and is a classic short fell race.
