I work at Bolton School Nursery as cook in charge.

I started running 14 years ago for Lostock AC where I did my first 10K (Adlington Fun Run, in 59 mins).  In 1991 I entered the London Marathon and did 3:29:22 and I was bitten by the bug!

I joined Horwich in 1992 and was Ladies Captain for a few years and helped with the juniors at Hilton Community Centre and St Joesphs school.  I have two Bronze Medals for Fell Running and was first lady vet in the open race in Gap France in 1993.

I now coach our beginners on Tuesday nights.

My favourite race is the Ladies Liverpool 10K.
