I was born 12-11-68, which makes me 36 and not yet a vet - like everyone thinks - I just had a heavy paper round.

I have been married to Emma since Aug 1995 (unfortunately) ha, ha, and have an 8 year old daughter, Isabelle Mae Rigby who means the world to me.

I started running at 18 after a motorbike accident - which put me in hospital for 3 months where I piled on the pounds - needless to say I don’t ride bikes anymore.

I joined Horwich RMI in Jan 1997 after a 2 year break from running after I had initially been a member of Golbourne Trotters and then at Swinton for 4 years.

• Road running, any distance but feel better in longer races.
• Going for walks and rides with my daughter.
• Chilling out

Dislikes
• Any races where I’m going to get dirty feet (hence the BIG SMILE on my face in the picture!)
• Stretching
• Norman shouting at me
