I ran for Horwich as a junior in the late 70's with Messrs Barlow and Sunter.  I rejoined in 2002 from Achille Ratti as a Vet, with the lure of trophies, by the the same dodgy characters.  I have not been disappointed.  My long suffering running partner is 'Baldy' alias Colin Jones.  Together we have had some epic days out on the fells!

I am very competitive and will put everything into a race, usually dying from the front (my speciality).  My favourite discipline is medium to long fell but will run anything apart from road marathons (not enough scree, bog, rivers, climbing, steep downhills or scenery to make it interesting!)
