An overcast day saw over 150 runners start this popular race with a small number from Horwich. In form Rob Jackson lead us home in a fine fourth place after being with the leaders from the gun he was 1st O/45 in a splendid time 62.58. Paul Boardman finished in 26th in 70.08. Just over a minute behind was Rudolf Maciejkowicz 34th in 71.14 taking the 1st O/60 award by some margin after a superb race. Finally completing the Horwich team in 60th place and 2nd O/65 was Tony Hesketh in 76.49. The Horwich team finished 3rd team with an average age of 55 years!
