On what was probably the hottest day of 2004 (in the North West certainly) Carl Foster and Rebecca Keating took part in the Pendle Annual Open Meeting.

Rebecca achieved 2 personal bests in 100m sprint - 15.7, and Shot - 5.36m and also came 3rd in the High Jump with a jump of 1.10m, and was awarded a bronze medal (U13 Age group).

Carl Foster romped home with a 1st position in Javelin (Seniors) with a massive 33.52m throw.  He was awarded with a Gold plaque for this outstanding performance.  He also took part in the Discuss with a throw of 18.81m and Shot 8.35m.
