Horwich RMI athletes travelled to Sheffield last weekend to compete in
the Northern Indoor Championships.
Under 17 Bruce Pilkington had the best performance of the weekend
running close to his best in his heat of the 400m. However in the final
he was unlucky enough to find himself boxed in coming off the final bend
and so just missed out on the medals finishing in 4th place.
Becky Norris had a successful weekend running three personal bests over
60m, 60 m Hurdles and 300m , the 300m time reducing her best by two
seconds.
Both Jack Thomas and Lexi Cochrane were also close to their bests over
60m and 200m.
