Primary League Meeting
Round 1, Wigan, 25th May 2007
This was the 1st Meeting held for the 2007 season for
Year 2 to 6 and we got off to a great start. It was quite a
hectic start with some exciting debut performances and fantastic effort
by all our Athletes, with 67 children taking part in all from Wigan,
Horwich, and Chorley. Our Team turned out 20 athletes on the day and
are in second place after Round 1. The league positions are as
follows :- 1st Wigan 54 pts, 2nd Horwich
41pts, 3rd Chorley 30 pts There were 5 new Club
Records set in this event:- Katy Chadbond (Under
9) in the 75m Sprint, Long Jump & Shot Putt.
Sophie Williams (Under 11) in the Shot Putt.
Grace Bridges, Alexandra Brown & Natassia Dacre (Under 11) High
