Young Athletes League
Trafford, 24th June 2007
Horwich RMI Harriers continued on their winning streak in
the Young Athletes league convincingly winning their third match on the
trot.
Just for good measure Horwich RMI also picked up an Athlete of the Match
award for Sam Higgins performance over 400m. Also in fine form was
Ellen Warburton who set a new club record over 70 m Hurdles as well as
an outstanding personal best in the Long Jump.
Just to show the clubs strength in depth Horwich RMI won five out of the
six 4 x 100m relay races demonstrating the clubs skill in developing
fine sprinters with the U15 Boys team of Dylan Smith, Jordan Rawlinson,
Sam Higgins and Danny Crompton setting a new Club Record.
With just one more fixture left in the league the club is now firmly at
the top of the league and looking to gain promotion at the next fixture.
